Allen graduated in the same class as Andy from Delcastle Vocational and Technical High School, but chose to continue his education at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. Upon returning from studying abroad in 1993, he learned that Rich and Andy had started their own company and wanted him to join them as a partner. After graduating from Tyler with honors in 1994, Allen turned down several lucrative job offers to become House Industries’ third stockholder. He is the designer of some of our best selling fonts, including Funhouse, Randumhouse, the Street Van collection and House Gothic. In 1998, Allen gave up his House Industries partnership and charter membership to the Middletown, Del. chapter of the Cardboard Lords breakdancing crew to become a full-time Christian missionary. He, his wife Sharon and children live in Hungary where they spread the gospel and operate a Christian outreach program.
