Alexander Girard’s environmental enrichment panels were perhaps an attempt to counteract the space-saving but mind-dulling effect of Herman Miller’s Action Office floor plan. The days of early 1970s open floor plan denizens were undoubtedly brightened by his daisy face illustration, which found its way on to this T-shirt nearly four decades later.
