About Devices
The base purchase price of your House Industries fonts includes a license for use on ten (10) devices owned by the same entity or individual. A device is defined as a computer, printer, character generator, vinyl cutter or any other machine that uses font data to rasterize letterforms. Although Chris Cooper is best known for his rock poster art, tattoo flash and trademark “smoking devil,” our one-track minds looked straight past the scantily-clad vixens and locked onto his beautifully-rendered letterforms. Coop was reluctant to work with us at first, but eventually came around when he figured out that he wouldn’t have to draw his own headlines anymore. After a few brushed alphabets, lots of Ken Barber typographical elbow grease, and a colorful release party, the fonts quickly made their way to the cereal box aisle, fast food wrappers and major entertainment empire style guides.
