If Marshall McLuhan was right and the medium is indeed the message, what exactly is this Photo-Lettering alphabet attempting to convey to its audience? Perhaps that hallucinogenic drugs can have dramatic and meaningful effect when sketching letterforms while listening to Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit. We can only speculate, but we do know that this alphabet finds its voice through the steady pressure of David Dodde’s squeegee and the delightful thickness of pure poster inks.
