Founded by Greg Ginn in 1976, Black Flag became the bellwether of the Southern California hardcore punk movement and later set the standard for the genre on a national stage. Frontman Henry Rollins joined Black Flag in 1981 and earned the unofficial title of the hardest working man in rock-n-roll, but Ginn’s famous artists brother, Raymond Pettibone, arguably left a more permanent mark in the annals of music history with his ubiquitous poster, flyer and album cover artwork. Wait. Sorry. This is a hand-pulled flag print featuring the forthcoming Photo-Lettering alphabet Goliath by Vincent Pacella and digitized by House designer Ben Kiel, so try and burn this one bitches.
