Photo-Lettering’s rich 60 year history and the circumstances under which House Industries continues to foster its rebirth as a modern paradigm of itself is a story as rich as the founding principles of our great nation. A cultural bricolage of artists worked together toward the common goal of drawing ascenders, descenders, serifs, bowls, terminals, stems and negative spaces to form a more perfect alphabetical union one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. And, while we have taken some aesthetic license with Old Glory, this patriotic specimen uses an American-drawn and digitized alphabet and was hand-pulled in the United States of America.
Featuring Goliath, a forthcoming alphabet from Photo-Lettering. Original alphabet by Vincent Pacella, digitized by Ben Kiel.
