Wandering around central London and need a jolt or bite to eat? Sure there’s one of those ubiquitous chain coffee joints on every street corner, but why feed the corporate machine when Bar Italia at 22 Frith Street (just off Soho Square) is the real deal. Professional baristas in white shirts and black ties serve freshly brewed espresso drinks while bantering in Italian with their cohorts. Sit out front, watch the local color and order the gorgonzola and wild rocket panini with a perfectly-frothed cappuccino. Thanks Barnzley for the tip!
