House released the Holiday Fonts a little over a week ago, so I figured I’d offer a peek at some Holiday Script drawings. Just to give you a quick breakdown, once the direction of the set was decided, the font’s general construction and engineering was hashed-out on paper. The sketches were then used as templates during the final digitization. Of course, tons more editing was necessary (along with other fun stuff like spacing, kerning and mastering—yea!) before the font was ready for loyal House fans just like you.
