Absolut Zuper Cool, Düdes!

Karlgeorg Hoefer (1914-2000) was a German calligrapher and type designer who exhibited his first one-man show at the Klingspor Museum in 1963 (check out the catalog cover above). In addition to doing incredible lettering and designing inventive typefaces (my personal favs are Saltarello and Monsun), Hoefer did textile work, illustration and even created a unique, all-in-one writing pen. Toll!
