Saab Story

Mikael Granberg from Sweden adds to the continuing saga of the the Volvo 1800S...

“Attached you can find a picture of my small Saab, “Ally”. A 1962 Saab 96, with a 850cc two stroke engine, with 38 horse power under the well shaped hood. Despite the lack of massive engine power the Saab was a successful rally car during the 60’s. As you can see in the picture my Saab has its original license plate number (P 12819 – also from Älvsborgs County!) on the hood. Considering your license plate has the number 9370, my mathematic skills tells me that your plate should be older than mine, which is from 1962. ”
