Indie rock week concludes
While most of the office has been out to Typo Berlin, Bondé and I have been having a ‘indie rock week’. Calexico, Iron and Wine, The Stereo Future, Belle and Sebastian, Andrew Bird, Apples in Stereo, Cat Power, Luna, Will Oldham, Wilco, Clap your hands say yeah, Uncle Tupelo, Denali, and Billy Bragg have been in heavy rotation. Bondé tolerated my crush on LeTigre and I sat through her Promise Ring indulgence. We both did indulge ourselves with a little Tiffany when we found her first album in the House Industries CD Library. No one’s ‘fessing up to where that came from….
