Cycling legend Andy Hampsten needed a new poster to commemorate his ride over the Gavia Pass in the 1988 Giro, so we offered to explore the wonders of offset lithography in his honor. We did two passes with this one (just like Andy in that fateful Giro stage)…four color process then an overprint of fluorescent pink with a varnish. For you trainspotters, there’s some secret art in the varnish plate that you should look for when you get ahold of one. Check with the Hampstens or your local independent bike shop if you want one.
