Finally getting around to downloading photos from the House show at Luther’s and our Austin Speed Shop gig. Today we’ll start with the wood at Luther’s…
Since my dad brought the real car down for the show, milking the C1932 line art on most of the pieces was a no-brainer. We decided to spread all our favorite influences over 16 slices of furniture grade plywood: layered metallic inks, 80s skateboard graphics (i.e. gold snakes with big chins), coarse dot halftones, Eames circus numbers, pattern and of course, hot rods. David gives us a little peek behind the curtain.
The sixteen tic installed.
