Incidentally, it’s worth mentioning that there was a slight mix-up during editing: Ed Rondthaler, didn’t routinely meet with New York City’s prominent letterers, as mentioned in the article. Rather, the Photo-Lettering co-founder merely mentions the artists’ informal get-togethers in his 1981 autobiography, Life with Letters.
