Under the watchful and discerning eyes of Eustace Tilley and the weight of over a million readers, House Industries presents new typographical tools for The New Yorker’s design refresh. House Industries type designer Ben Kiel and original Neutraface designer Christian Schwartz worked with The New Yorker creative director Wyatt Mitchell to make a custom version of Neutraface that will continue to evolve with the 88 year-old magazine. House also worked on two different versions of The New Yorker’s original Irvin typeface, treading lightly but firmly on nine decades of design heritage.
