Rigorous testing is the hallmark of any successful House Industries project, so we sought the assistance of Britain’s Dirt Track Riders Association (DTRA) to put a new set of flatface figures through the paces. In deference to their motorsports lineage, these numbers needed to be visible at speed, readable at a constant lean angle, resistant to vibration and impervious to airborne mud. And, since the DTRA also used the number plates for race and series championship trophies, we also built in enough style to withstand the stylistic rigors of podium ceremonies, and post-race paparazzi photos. This ten-figure sponsorship fueled the Dirt Track Riders Association’s (DTRA) seven-round flat-track racing series in the United Kingdom as well as some adhesive number stickers, T-shirts and a limited-edition serigraph for race fans throughout the world.
