I remember driving Ed Roth back to his hotel room one night and asking him if he had regret getting rid of any of his cars. “Andy, you never really own anything until you give it away” was all he said.

My dad stopped by for a little Friday afternoon One-Shot session on Rich’s 33 Vanson.

First the graphic design nerds fuss over placement.

Hours later, Ken does the analog version of Studio Sable in pencil.

Then it’s Angelo’s turn. “Lettering brush…what lettering brush? We’re pinstriping today, son…using a striping brush on everything.”

The armband got the Adam West Batmobile stripe treatment.

Those ampersands come in handy for all sorts of things. We’ll update once the lettering and stripes get good and cracky.

We thought we’d try and push the debossing on the Neutraface Slab blocks a little further by bleeding the A-Z pattern off all four sides of the end grains. After the debossing, color is rolled over the highest part of the block. Maroon on one side and black on the other.
