New at Photo-Lettering: Quintet

Photo-Lettering's Quintet

A single master stroke layered in triplicate, Kunihiko Okano’s Quintet answers the conductor’s call for calligraphic flourish.

Quintet was designed as part of Kunihiko’s year-long study at the KABK Type & Media program. We’re happy to offer this custom version of it for Photo-Lettering users.

Photo-Lettering: Exotique in use

Photo-Lettering's Exotique in use

Matthijs Sluiter sent in this example of Photo-Lettering’s Exotique in use for an invitation to a series of living room concerts in the Hague. For those of us who don’t speak Dutch, Matthijs explains, “The title ‘keukengeheimen’ says ‘kitchen secrets’ as a reference to both a nostalgic cook book by that title, and to the contents of the series.”

Exotique was digitized by Kris Sowersby, so it’s appropriate that Matthija used Kris’s Calibre as the supporting typeface.

Dank u wel, Matthijs!
